Yuccas
Yuccas come in a variety of shapes and sizes, the main differences being the length of the stem and the ease with which they flower.
The flowering Yucca in this picture is Yucca Gloriosa (Spanish Dagger). There is only a very short trunk, and long pointed leaves.
This Yucca flowers easily in sunny conditions, giving a fine display of white bell-shaped flowers on a tall stem.
